Artist Collaboration Advertising Campaign Brief
Title: A Style for Every Season
Category: Editorial Design / Print & Digital

Target Audience:
Millennials & Gen Z (18-40years old)Classic & Timeless Handbag Buyers (35-55 years old)

Background:
Founded in New York in 1941, Coach is a global fashion house dedicated to creating beautifully crafted, long-lasting goods. The brand is renowned for its designer handbags, which blend classic and modern aesthetics. With a strong emphasis on heritage craftsmanship and high-end design, Coach balances luxury with accessibility.

Design Problem:
Develop an advertising campaign for Coach in collaboration with a well-known artist, integrating classic fine art with contemporary fashion branding.

Mockups

Design Solution: For this campaign, I selected three of Rosalba Carriera’s renowned Rococo portraits from her series The Four Seasons—Spring, Summer, and Autumn—each featuring an elegant maiden. I integrated Coach handbags into the compositions, allowing the artwork and accessories to complement one another while reinforcing the campaign’s theme: A Style for Every Season.

Software Used:

Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator

Process

Design Process:
I began by selecting one of Rosalba Carriera’s paintings and pairing it with a Coach handbag that complemented the artwork. Using Photoshop, I applied mask layers and multiple adjustment layers (color, luminosity, hue/saturation) to seamlessly integrate the bag into the painting. To achieve a painterly effect on the handbag, I carefully hand-painted the mask layers, ensuring the edges were softened for a natural blend. I then applied several smart filters, including:
·Oil Paint
·Facet
·Dust & Scratches
·Despeckle
·Add Noise
·Gaussian Blur
Next, I used Adobe Illustrator to trace the Coach logo and imported it into Photoshop, where I added typography and other design elements while maintaining consistency with Coach’s branding aesthetic.
